Empower Amazon kids to protect the environment.
About
Arca Beta is an international team that believes in the future generation. We see today's children and teenagers as agents of change protecting and conserving the environment. Our project "Environmental Club" seeks to empower 375 students of "Sachachorro" public school located by the Itaya River which connects to the Amazon River in Iquitos, Peru. With the tools and intercultural exchange, project-based learning and empathy of our volunteers, we give the children hands-on experience.
Need
Lack of Funding and Resources, Limited Local Support, Environmental Issues, Schools Equipment. These challenges affect the most vulnerable members of the community like children, students, and local educators-who are unable to access the educational tools and environmental knowledge they need to create a sustainable community. By supporting ARCA BETA, donors can help provide the resources, training, and equipment needed to adapt to climate change to benefit 375 students of Sachachorro school.
Long term impact
This project will transform the lives of 375 students and the Belen community in the Amazon by teaching sustainable practices like recycling and adaptation. It will empower young leaders through environmental education and address issues like pollution and flooding to build community resilience. International experience will promote cultural exchange. Ultimately, the project will cultivate leaders in Belen who drive sustainable development.
