Tony Mestres is president and CEO of Seattle Foundation, one of the largest community foundations in the country, with more than $1 billion in assets. In 2014, he joined the foundation, following a 22-year career in high technology.

In this podcast, Mestres talks with Paul Shoemaker, founding president of Social Venture Partners, about the history and role of community foundations. Mestres also shares his thoughts on leadership and philanthropy gaps and tackling complex social issues like homelessness.
