Bilingual Volunteers Needed for Hospice Patients
About
Do you speak a foreign language? Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Japanese? Patients on Hospice often feel isolated and lonely, especially when there is a language barrier. Volunteers provide support and companionship to patients as well as giving family caregivers a needed break. Our patients, who are in the final stage of illness, will appreciate volunteers who can talk with them in their primary language.
