About

AccentCare Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for caring volunteers who would like to make a difference in the lives of people facing the end of their life. Vigil Volunteers are responsible for providing non-medical support services as needed to the inpatient patient's life.

Vigil Volunteers provide the support and physical presence that patients and families need; often at bedside. The needs and desires of dying patients and their loved ones differ; so volunteers will try to tailor their approach to fit each families unique wants and needs. We will provide all necessary training to help aid you in this very much needed role.
