About the Organization
Child Safe Michigan provides youth and young adults in foster care, ages 14-23, the opportunity to positively interact with an adult mentor. Youth are given the chance to develop a relationship with an adult mentor, other than an authority figure, who then becomes a role model and advocate for the youth.
Child Safe Michigan's mentoring program is the one of the only successful mentoring program in the state of Michigan that is dedicated primarily to youth in foster care.
You must be 21 years old to become a mentor through our agency.
