Library Foundation Seeks Board Membership
About
The Westerville Library Foundation is currently recruiting folks to serve on our Board of Trustees - we’re a great group of volunteers with a passion for supporting our incredible 5-star public library. Community members and patrons, educators, and professionals from the library/information science, nonprofit and/or finance sector make ready candidates. If you love public libraries and have experience in fundraising, we’d like to hear from you!
Trustees must reside within the central Ohio area, and serve three-year terms. Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of each month. Attendance at monthly meetings is expected, with opportunities to serve on committees and volunteer at events as your schedule allows.

More about the Westerville Library Foundation: The mission of the Westerville Library Foundation is to secure the future of the Westerville Public Library. Governed by a volunteer board of local citizens, the Foundation is an independent, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for library projects and ensuring the long-term financial stability of this invaluable community resource.

About the Organization
The Westerville Library Foundation financially supports the Westerville Public Library's 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program; the Foundation has also funded the newly-installed StoryWalk at Johnston-McVay Park, acquisition of adaptive technology, and raised relief monies during a recent flood. The Foundation is tasked with maintaining and growing the endowment, to ensure that the library continues to serve Westerville patrons in perpetuity. Currently, the Foundation solicits donations through an Annual Campaign, and raises funds through book sales, author receptions, and Special Events.VolunteerMatch Categories:
