Elizabeth Gregory Home (EGH) is seeking additional advisors with lived experience related to our mission. EGH is a vital Seattle agency that provides compassionate care and critical resources to women experiencing homelessness, trauma, or economic security.
As a lived experience advisor or board member, you will make an impact. You’ll share your experience and perspective as we work to continuously improve outcomes for those we serve.
EGH fosters a productive culture rooted in our values of RICE (Respect, Inclusion, Community, and Empathy). We welcome all gender identities and embrace diverse backgrounds and voices.
While our priority is to grow our lived experience advisors, we welcome inquiries from individuals with a variety of professional backgrounds to visit us and learn about advisory or board roles.

Requirements
- Time Commitment:Advisor role has no regular time commitment or scheduled events. Advisors provide input and perspective on a flexible schedule. The Board Member role requires a time commitment of 4-6 hours per month, including meetings and prep.
About the Organization
Elizabeth Gregory Home (EGH) provides hope and help to hundreds of homeless and at-risk women in the greater Seattle area each year. We offer compassionate care through our drop-in Day Center, Transitional Housing program and case management services.EGH's 3-year plan reflects a strategy to expand the life-changing opportunities we provide to women who access our services. We will enhance programs, evaluate outcomes with more precision, facilitate guest connections to resources, strengthen organizational capacity, and become a change agent for social justice in our community.
